A Great Selection of Firewood Carriers and Caddys
What some people might consider to be the disadvantage of firewood is you have to move the pieces around. It can be a daily chore bringing firewood in from the woodshed to your firewood rack inside. To avoid many trips carrying one or two pieces at a time you can pick up as much as many pieces as you can carry in your arms. If you have done this before you probably know this can leave your arms or clothes with scratches, slivers and covered in dirt and debris and maybe even globs of sticky pitch.
Or you can skip all of that and get a firewood carrier. With a firewood carrier you can easily carry multiple pieces at a time without injuring yourself and keeping yourself and your floors clean. A firewood carrier or caddy works great for home use or at your camp site for gathering wood for a campfire.
Firewood carriers come in two basic styles. The canvas or leather style that works similar to a duffel bag. They lay out flat and you lay your firewood logs in the middle. When you are ready to go pick up the two handles, one on each end, and the wood is cradled in the middle and you carry it like a duffel bag.
The other kind is is similar to a moving dolly. It’s a small firewood rack with two wheels. Simply stack your firewood logs in the rack, then grab the handle and easily take it wherever you want to go.
