just recieved some locus wood with my fire wood order . How well will it
burn in a wood stove ? Never used it before.

If you are talking about locust it burns very well, long and hot and low ash. At
least that is with black locust, one of my favorite woods to burn.

Honey locust or black locust? Both are excellent firewood, black locust having a bit more btu's/cord than honey locust but both have more btu's/cord than white or red oak.
